A figure in robes, with face covered by hood, and a blade on his back came out. "What do you want?"

"do you hear that" the emperor said "goblins are coming get ready to run or fight hooded figure"

"I am ready to fight, " the figure said and looked around. no goblins in sight.

the emperors horse was shot bya an curvy black arrow. the emperor jumped off just in time. "attack!" he yelled and the guards dismounted and ran at the goblins that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. the emperor drew a silver sword with a ruby in the hilt out.

The figure threw away huis robe and at the same moment blened with enviroment. none was fast enough to see who he was. After couple of moments the goblin archers were struk down by slashes, but it seemed as noone is there. (yup, he chameleoned)

before anything else happened two goblins tackled the emperor and a skirmisher was about to club his head in. the emperor could not reach his sword.

After moments a chameleoned fogure, like a transcuent gooey mass (like predator or like in mgs) jumped next to emperor and one of the goblins was cut in half. The blood covered a part of the chameleoned figure, allowing others to see about where he is. After a secondthe other goblin was kicked away and hit a nearby tree and fell unconcious.

the emperor kicked away the goblin and picked up his sword wich caught onfire because of the ruby in the hilt(the dragonfire amulet from the amulet of kings). he cleaved the goblin in half.

The guards took down the other goblins, but one of the guards fell... The figure had already took back his robe and hidden in it walked down te road, when battle was over, not looking back.

"here take this guards horse"the emperor offered the reigns to the figure "its the least i can do if you didnt take out the archers it would have costed us our lives", if your ever at the palace come see me and i will crown you a count"

"I dont need your horse... Nor I want to be a count... fo now... " the figure answered and kept walking down the road.
